Vail Gondola Schedule & Adventure Ridge Activities

The Eagle Bahn is the Vail Gondola that will take you to the top of Vail Mountain. Explore all the activities offered at Adventure Ridge.  Spend an hour or a day.  Bike, hike, dig, play or just relax.  Don't forget your cameras you will be surrounded by  unbelievable views of the Sawatch, New York and Gore Ranges, and the famous Mount of the Holy Cross. ADVENTURE RIDGE ACTIVITIES

Motor Tours

Vail’s new 45-minute Top of the Mountain Tour combines adventure with incredible summer views of Vail’s legendary Back Bowls, the Gore Range and Mount of the Holy Cross from high atop Vail Mountain in an open air vehicle. The 11-mile loop begins at Eagle’s Nest and continues beyond Patrol Headquarters to Two Elk before returning to the western end of the mountain.

Horseback Trail Rides

40 minute trail rides begin at Eagle's Nest corral at 10:30am for adults and children ages 7 and up.  $50 for season pass holders, $60 for non-pass holders (price includes lift ticket) or $70 which includes a lift ticket and $15 lunch voucher valid at Bistro Fourteen or Talons Deck.  Reservations recommended at 970-ski-vail.

Guided Nature Hikes

Explore Vail Mountain on a free one-hour guided hike with the Gore Range Natural Science School and learn about the area’s flora and fauna departing at 11am and 2pm. Longer, private guided hikes are available upon request from the LionsHead Ticket Office.

Dino Dig

Ages 4 years and up dig through sand to uncover dinosaur bones and learn about prehistoric creatures through an educational display. Digging tools and a map are provided. free

Lawn Sports - Disc Golf, Volleyball, Bocci, Horseshoes

Ride the Eagle Bahn® Gondola to the top for an afternoon of fun. Play 18 holes on our regulation disc golf course (Disc rental for Frisbee Golf: $10).  The front nine holes are beginner and the back nine holes are intermediate/advanced.  Allow 1-2 hours per nine holes. Or try your hand at the FREE  horseshoes, bocci, volleyball and more!

Discovery Center

Located at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola, the Discovery Center introduces you to the environment through fun, interactive displays and guided nature hikes. Open daily 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.  For more information call 970-754-4675.
